An iron worker from Georgia and his wife have turned in their winning Mega Millions lottery ticket and claimed the $275 million jackpot last Monday(2/25/08) afternoon. This is the largest prize won by a single player in the history of Georgia lottery.

Robert Harris, 47, says he picked the winning numbers from Friday’s multistate drawing by using his grandchildren’s birthdays. The winning numbers were 7, 12, 13, 19, and 22, plus the Mega Ball number 10. Another proof that picking numbers from birthdays are source of winning combinations contrary to lotto experts opinion.
