Pinoy lottery players are the luckiest in the world?
Philippine lotto players are the luckiest in the world? I just had this feeling when I noticed that the past 4 draws for the 6/42 lottery got 6 jackpot winners. I did some research and this is what I found.
For the year 2007…
6/42 lottery had a winner 37 times out of the 99 draws. 74 winning tickets all in all, the most number of winner was 21, sharing the pot of PHP4.7M.
6/45 lottery had a winner 38 times out of the 148 draws. 61 winning tickets all in all, the most number of winner was 8, sharing the pot of PHP10M.
6/49 lottery had a winner 16 times out of the 97 draws. 22 winning tickets all in all, the most number of winner was 2.

According to my calculation, for the past two years:
11.1 Winner per Month ang nananalo sa Lotto
or
2.6 Winners per Week
with a Median Prize of P9.48 Million (Median not Average) per Person
Ang Median Prize ng Lotto is only P9.33 Million
Ang Median Prize ng MegaLotto is P14.6 Million
Ang Median Prize ng SuperLotto is P27.0 Million
I have a system when to buy a lotto and that is when the prize is at 73%+ rank against the Median Prize.
I will buy at least 100 tickets with specific numbers I selected.
Since madaming tickets yon… ang hirap i check nyon… so i also made a system in which it will check all my tickets… hehe
Kamusta ka na?

Hi,
But still, don’t you think that 2.6 winners per week is kinda high?
And betting at least 100 tickets, wow, this must take a lot of your time just writing the bets! I’m curious, have you won any jackpot?
Thanks and all the best!

So 2.6 Winners per Week is normal. Which means that everyday, more that 4.5M Filipinos are playing the Lotto. Which I guess is normal.
Writing all my 50+ bets indeed takes. Mga 20 minutes siguro. I wanted to made it automatic by printing it using a printer…
And have I won any jackpot? Haha. Winning the jockpot is like predicting the outcome of flipping 23 coins all correctly. So No, I haven’t won the jackpot.
So why do waste time and money? Because I enjoy numbers and probability. And syempre… malay mo baka manalo.
So Enjoy lang

I think 1/3 of the bet goes to the jackpot prize, correct me if i’m wrong so on the average around 4-5M is added to the jackpot prize (in case of no winner the previous draw). If it’s 1/3 of total sales, then multiplying it by 3 we’ll havel 15M as total sales, divide it by 10 PHP (price of 1 bet) and you’ll get 1.5M tickets. It is safe to safe that every bettor places an average of 2 bets? So roughly 750,000 lottery players?
Anyway, I’m not very good in math so please verify
And 6/49 bets are now PHP20

serotic,
not yet, the most i’ve won was 4 numbers but I’ll definitely win the jackpot, it’s my destiny
I have a csv file of the results, taken from pcso website so not sure about the accuracy, tell me if you want it.
